The SAT test organized by the College Board consists of the SAT Reasoning Test (SAT I) and the SAT Subject (SAT II). As these exams are held separately, their appointments are also different.
Subjects included in the SAT Reasoning Test (SAT I):
The SAT Reasoning Test (SAT I) consists of mathematics (math), logical thinking (verbal) and essay sections. From these sections, mathematics and logical thinking also consist of 2 parts: mathematics without a calculator and a calculator with permission; logical thinking (verbal) and reading (writing). The essay is usually required by US universities. For example, about 30 universities in Turkey accept students with SAT results, but none of these universities requires an essay section.

SAT Reasoning Test Exam Duration:
The duration of the SAT exam is 3 hours (3 hours 50 minutes with an essay ).
Exam dates and place:
SAT exams are also held in Azerbaijan. The exams are held in March, May, June, October, November and December in Azerbaijan in 6-7 different examination centers. SAT Reasoning Test Fee:
The cost of the SAT Reasoning Test at test centers outside the United States is 94.50 $ (an additional 64.50 $ if an essay is taken).
Subjects included in the SAT Subject (SAT II):
In the SAT Subject (SAT II), the subjects are mathematics, biology, chemistry, physics, history, English, etc. covering the areas corresponding to the specialty. SAT Subject Math is divided into 2 parts, SAT Subject Math Level 1 and SAT Subject Math Level 2. Many universities usually require a Math Level 2 result. SAT Subject exam results are usually required by top universities. In addition, medical specialties may necessarily require the result of both or one of them, being SAT Subject chemistry and biology.
SAT Subject exam duration:
The duration of the SAT Subject exam is 1 hour for each subject. The student can take 3 SAT Subject exams on the same exam day. Each subject is evaluated on 200-800 points. SAT Subject subjects are:
• English literature,
• History (USA or world),
• Language (Chinese, French, Hebrew, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Latin, Spanish),
• Mathematics (level 1 or level 2),
• Natural sciences (biological-ecological, biological-molecular, chemistry, physics)
SAT Subject exam fee:
The SAT Subject exam costs 56 $ at exam centers outside the United States. For other subjects taken in one day, an additional 22 $ is paid.
